In honour of the start of the grouse season, Sussex is celebrating The Glorious Twelfth with a wild, foraged feast on August 12th. With six beautiful courses showcasing the British countryside, each with its own story, this is set to be an evening to remember. Executive chef Oliver Gladwin hand-delivers the first Grouse of the season from the Yorkshire Dales and they're roasted mere hours later for your showstopping main course. Due to many shoots distance from London, is very difficult to ensure that grouse arrives in London restaurants actually on the 12th August so guests are in for a real treat.
Guests will enjoy a glass of our English sparkling wine, Nutty Wild, on arrival. After taking a seat in the dining room, guests are invited to listen to an introduction and explanation of the menu and exciting day leading up to this evening by Oliver.
The Menu is an expression of foraged, seasonal British food; It follows our philosophy of 'what grows together, goes together' as a journey through England's incredible produce. Each course is named after the area from which we source the produce. The first two courses take guests through Cornwall and Maldon with queenie scallops and oysters Rockefeller, and Nutbourne with heritage tomato and courgette ratatouille. Delectable and rich rabbit ragu pasta represents the Sussex course. The showstopper from Yorkshire, the main course, is a traditional whole roast grouse served with heritage vegetable crisps, beef drippings toast, red wine jus, and watercress salsa. Guests will enjoy a Cornish cheese plate, followed by our 'Dorset' course of honeycomb crunchie, clotted cream, and hazelnut sherbet.
Tickets: £75 per person for six courses, a glass of Nutty Wild English Sparkling Wine on arrival, and petit fours after your meal.
Tickets are paid in full to secure the table. Drinks are ordered and paid for on the evening.

If you cannot make your reservation, kindly cancel your table 48 hours before your reservation. Those that do not cancel their booking or do not show up on the evening forfeit the full price of a ticket, at £75 per person.
