Feast, Fizz, and Live Music for New Year’s Eve at Sussex

 


 When the clock ticks down, there’s nowhere quite like Sussex British Bistro in Soho. Our Local & Wild New Year’s Eve Menu is a celebration of craft, flavour and seasonality, with every dish rooted in the countryside and coast that inspire us.


Begin the evening with a glass of Nutty Vintage from our family vineyard in Sussex and a few playful bites: Mushroom Marmite Éclairs, Maldon Oysters with pickled apple, and Torched Squash Carpaccio with pumpkin seed butter.


Then comes the main event: Sussex Beef Wellington with wild mushrooms and red wine jus, served alongside crispy rosemary potatoes and a Brussels sprout salad that’s anything but ordinary. Do you have something for non-meat eaters, you ask? The Chalk Stream Trout Wellington is a star in its own right, while vegetarians can indulge in the Wild Mushroom and Beetroot Wellington with truffled cheddar fondue.


End the night with Dark Chocolate Mousse and hazelnut praline, before raising a final toast as the live music swells on 31 December and we welcome 2026, full of promise, flavour and a little Sussex mischief.
