There's no better way to say "I love you mum" than emblazoned in pastry on a delicious wellington that she didn't have to cook (and is just as good, if not better - sorry mums)! Sussex is celebrating mums, sisters, grandmothers, and Godmothers this March the 22nd with a Sunday Roast to rival all others!
Join us for a classic Roast Lunch this Mothering Sunday as we serve our signature Sussex beef wellingtons to share. Pre-book a wellington to share between 2, 4, 6 or even 8 people - all of which will have "mum" or for the larger of the wellies "we heart mum" printed on them in charcoal pastry - No need for a Hallmark card when you've got that on your table?
Our wellingtons are £34 per person (with a minimum £68 wellington to share between two) and include seasonal vegetable sides, Yorkshire puddings, and a meaty jus. Pair your wellie feast with a bold bottle of red wine from our fantastic selection or keep it light with a gorgeous bottle of Nutty Brut bubbles from our family vineyard, Nutbourne.
Sunday lunch service starts at 12pm and runs until 3.45 (last sitting) with tables being swept up quick! We highly recommend pre-ordering your wellington with us online (let us know if your booking message for how many you'd like your wellie), or directly via email or phone call as they are anticipated to sell-out fast.
We will have vegan pithiviers as a veggie alternative option and will also be serving our full Sunday Roast lunch menu with 2/3-courses for £24/£28 including a cookie and coffee.
Sussex has a lovely bar-reception as you enter our restaurant which you're more than welcome to start at for a cocktail (Bloody Mary anyone?) and a snack - or give our new Organic Blonde Local & Wild lager a try! The restaurant is a 2-minute walk from Tottenham Court Station, past Soho Square and at the top-end of Frith Street.
