There’s no better place to begin New Year’s Eve than in the heart of Soho. At Sussex on Frith Street, we’re serving a four-course feast that brings the best of the Sussex countryside to central London. It’s available on Wednesday 30 and Thursday 31 December.
From the Sussex countryside to Soho
Every dish tells the story of our home county. Begin with Nutty Vintage 2018, sparkling wine from our own Nutbourne Vineyards, and a mushroom Marmite éclair. Treat yourself to an Exmoor caviar blini with crème fraîche (+£18).
Next, torched squash carpaccio with kale pesto and mizuna, plus an endive, pear and blue cheese salad. The centrepiece is our Sussex beef Wellington, made with beef from the Gladwin family farm, with wild mushrooms, red wine jus and crispy rosemary potatoes. Add a pan-fried goat’s cheese course (+£12) before dark chocolate mousse with hazelnut praline. Vegetarian and pescatarian menus are available.
