In celebration of Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns, we will be marking the annual tradition of Burns Night with the launch of The Ultimate Burns Night Box, in partnership with Islay’s Bruichladdich Distillery, home to Bruichladdich Whisky and The Botanist Gin.
Delivering a Highland feast straight to front doors across the nation, each box will be filled with three-courses of Scottish delights including a show-stopping Haggis Wellington with neeps and tatties, alongside bottles of Bruichladdich Classic Laddie Whisky and The Botanist Gin, ensuring everyone can have a right ol’ Highland hurrah at a time when we can’t leave home.
The menu, created by Executive Chef and founder, Oliver Gladwin, has been developed with Burns Night at its heart, whilst maintaining our ethos of using local and wild ingredients. Those missing the bonnie homeland can feast on the three-course menu starting with Trout Gravlax, before indulging in a traditionally Scottish Haggis Wellington served with Neeps and Tatties and a red wine jus. Ending with a pudding the bard himself would commend, guests will enjoy a twist on the classic Dundee Cake with Oliver Gladwin’s Whisky and Dundee Marmalade Cake.
To ensure lads and lassies can have a true knees up at home, each Burns Night Kit will arrive with a 20cl bottle of Bruichladdich Classic Laddie meaning everyone can toast the haggis with a wee dram or two of whisky. Alongside whisky, guests will receive a bottle of The Botanist Gin with Double Dutch Tonic and sprig of rosemary, to serve up seasonal The Botanist Gin and Tonics throughout the evening.
Located on the remote Hebridean island of Islay, Bruichladdich Distillery seeks to produce the most natural, thought-provoking, and enjoyable spirits possible. This Burns night everyone is invited to raise a toast to the Scottish heritage and provenance of Bruichladdich Whisky and The Botanist Gin.
